Our College has initiated steps to contribute a Research Centre,
where the Faculty and students shall get fully involved. A
few full time research Scientists / Engineers also are likely
to be placed. This will increase the momentum in research
in certain thrust areas such as nonconventional energy sources,
environment and foundry practices.
Under nonconventional energy sources, it is proposed to start
applied research / consultancy on photovoltaic cells, solar
thermal power, biogas and wind energy. Solar houses, trombe
wall, water wall, wind scoops and solar chimneys are other
areas we propose to do some innovative actions.
In the field of environment, water harvesting and gallery
construction are proposed in our campus. The consultancy centre
shall offer design and undertake turn key projects on rain
water harvesting, ground water recharge programs, wastewater
treatment, industrial waste renovation, solid waste disposal,
hospital waste treatment, incineration, slaughter house waste
treatment, waste water treatment for multi storied buildings,
shopping complexes etc. Presently a few consultancy service
are being undertaken including some leading multinationals
like ESSAE TERAOKA, Pioneers in Weighing Scale Industry.
In the areas of Electricity and foundry and forgings, Management
has more than 20 years of exposure. Professors / Faculty /
Students in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering
/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering shall be involved
in various stages in offering consultancy in these field.
